Staff Team

  • Tash hails from Australia and holds degrees in music and theology, with a master’s degree from the London School of Theology. As Co-Lead Pastor Tash oversees Venture Communities and develops the teaching ministries of the church. She is Honorary Chaplain to Christians in Government. She loves to help people move forward in their discipleship journey and also spends a lot of time running after her husband Simon and their three small children.

  • Simon originally hails from Australia, where he worked as a lawyer before moving to the UK to study apologetics at OCCA and theology at Oxford University where he is studying towards a PhD on the topic of Justice. He is the author of The Sanity of Belief: Why Faith Makes Sense and has spoken widely about the evidence for Christian faith – in churches, businesses, government institutions, conferences, and university campuses around the world. Simon lives in South Bucks with his wife, Tash, and their three young children.

  • Judith grew up in Cumbria and made her profession of faith as a child. She thrives when dealing with all things logistical and operational (and is known to love a spreadsheet), particularly when her work behind-the-scenes helps people to connect with others and with God.

  • Ali grew up in a Christian home and became a Christian as a young teenager. Having previously worked in a local preschool, she wants our children to know that they are loved by their Creator and Saviour so that they may grow into committed followers and servants of the Lord Jesus. She is married to Tim and has two children.

  • Rachel runs her own Personal Style Consultancy and holds an MA in Christianity and the Arts focusing on the intersection of beauty and theology. She leads the worship and creative arts in the life of the church and is passionate about Jesus, making things beautiful and going on adventures with her husband Nick and their daughter.

  • Ian made a commitment to Jesus when he was 7 years old and loves the ways that God has kept him over the years. He leads a Christian charity providing education for the slum children of Nairobi, Kenya. Ian is married to Marcena and they have 3 grown up children.

  • Steph is an experienced and enthusiastic teacher who has enjoyed working in several local secondary schools. Now retired, she remains committed to encouraging all ages to learn, grow and thrive, whatever life brings. She finds it a privilege to see how prayer and belonging to a caring community, can make a real difference.

Trustee Board

  • Steve is the co-founder of GiANT, a company that retools leaders for the digital world. He is an international speaker and consultant to top-level executives and business leaders. Married to Helen with 3 daughters, he has a long-standing addiction to Test Match Cricket and the golf course is his second spiritual home.

  • Formerly Managing Director of LICC (London Institute for Contemporary Christianity), Tracy now consults on a freelance basis. She holds a doctorate in Leadership and Spiritual Formation from George Fox University, USA. She is a trustee of Evangelical Alliance and in her spare time is involved in a very long-term project to renovate her garden. She is married to John and has 3 adult children.

  • Gregg has known Jesus for over 30 years and has a passion to see his name and truth be proclaimed. Married to Lindsay, he has 2 children. Gregg and Lindsay are thankful to be in such an amazing church community and look forward to partnering together to accomplish God’s vision for us.

  • Don headed up public policy for the Evangelical Alliance and now advises on public theology as well as being a trustee of Coalition for Marriage and Christian Safeguarding Services. Don holds a theological doctorate, is an accredited Baptist minister and a research fellow at London School of Theology. He is married to Stephanie with 3 children and 6 grandchildren.

  • Julie grew up in Beaconsfield, becoming a Christian in her teens. She worked as Faculty Head in a Further Education College before moving with her husband to the Middle East to help plant a church. She is passionate about making Jesus known everywhere. Julie loves languages and is a keen swimmer. She has 4 children and 9 grandchildren.
