“Come near to God, and he will come near to you” James 4 v 8

As we start the New Year, we want to take seriously what we see in the Bible about God’s people being people of prayer, as well as continuing to go ‘further up, and further in’ with God.

We are gathering to pray over the weekend of the 24th - 25th January, when we have several opportunities and formats for prayer. We would love everyone at Venture Church to join one of our meetings together and sign up for at least one ‘slot’ over the weekend; if you’re able, maybe even set aside the whole weekend and really give the Lord space to speak to you.

Here’s the schedule:

• Saturday 8am - 10am - Gathered Together (at Tracy’s)

• Saturday 10am - Sunday 9am - 24/7 sign up for one hour prayer slots, either individually or with others, finding your own space to pray

• Sunday 9am -10am Gathered Prayer before the service at The Beaconsfield School

• Sunday 10.30am - 12pm - Gathered Together at The Beaconsfield School, followed by lunch

• Sunday 1.15pm - 2pm - Pray Together at The Beaconsfield School

We believe, as we gather to pray, God will show us something of His heart for us both individually and collectively.

Do save the dates for the gathered times of prayer, and BOOK YOUR SLOT for the 24/7 prayer through Saturday and overnight into Sunday.
